foda - From Old English foda. Verb - to feed, food, sustenance.

Foda was formed in 2006 by specialist food industry professional Sally Gallagher. By combining a technical background with strong marketing and commercial experience Sally offers a superior service to the food and nutritional products sectors.

With a degree in food technology and a post graduate diploma in nutrition, Sally has worked in the dairy, food and nutritional product industries for a variety of companies from large corporate through to start up organizations.  Working for the New Zealand dairy industry involved roles with the New Zealand Dairy Board, Fonterra Health & Nutrition, Fonterra Innovation and Kiwi Milk Products as well as offshore postings with Key Ingredients (Harrisburg, USA) and New Millennium Health & Nutrition (Chicago, USA).   More recently Sally has worked within the NZ Pipfruit industry in project management roles with a number of new varieties including Rockit, KIKU, PiqaBoo and Smitten.  The NZ Food Innovation Network, Callaghan Innovation, Fruitpackers HB Cooperative and a new start up business Apollo Foods have provided experience across the NZ processed food sector with a focus on business development initiatives.

Foda is focused on providing services to the food industry in key areas:
